For getting my second van I have been prepared and informed about all needs much more than with the first one. I found this second van of mine during the time I have been selling mine at eBay in an auction that ended almost same time mine did. My second van came from a privat family from Zeiskam, Germersheim, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. To be on the safe side I traveled to Zeiskam together with Jan-Georg to check the van before the auction ended although we ad to travel quite a long distance to Germersheim Rheinland-Pfalz (Engl.: Rhineland-Palatinate).
It's been a good looking van in very good condition in my eyes (see picture from auction on the left)! I got in contact with the family that has been selling the van very early, before I sold mine and trusted them because I myself have had bad experiences with a car dealer. The auction ended without reaching the minimum price that has been set to 5000 Euros. Jan-Georg and I realized that the automatic gearing also seemed to have a little damage, it didn't work properly when the car still has been cold. But anyways the price has been ok in my eyes. Before finally buying the van in the middle of January 2006 I wanted to let the van be checked at ATU but they didn't inform me correctly about getting a date for it and so I could let it be checked. I took the risk and bought it anyways and I think it has been the right decision although I had to invest a lot of money in the car during the last time.
